“How can I even say I love you. When I destroy you with every word?”
One of the first fics we wrote, hence the simple title of “Hypothetical Timeline”. It’s an offshoot of canon where Thandi rejects Charlie and breaks his heart, so he never finds peace with everyone because his prickly nature never quite eases.
After the adventure, they spend a year apart, but Thandi reaches out for his help. In order to appear like all is well and he doesn’t need her, Charlie enlists the help of someone to pretend he is betrothed, failing spectacularly.
It’s a bumpy fic as we learned one another’s writing styles but I recall it being very fun to write. We never ended up finishing this one, though.
Bound Version
The cover was a challenge. I had intended to use vinyl but it wasn’t HTV, so it refused to stick to the fabric when I tried to put it on. After all that fucking weeding, too. I ended up printing the cover onto clear sticker sheets and affixing it to the fabric instead.
The interior design is quite nice in my opinion. I think there’s some improvements to be made, but overall I’m quite pleased. It’s a smaller volume— 4.25×5.5. My printer can’t handle these smaller pages very well, though, so it will be a rarity in the future.
You’ll notice I have also taken care to do some censorship in the pages for certain characters! We do not play around with that. 🙂
